Alpha Wire Releases “V-Flex” Flexible VFD Cable

Alpha Wire V-Flex Flexible VFD CableAlpha Wire expands its line of industrial cable with V-Flex VFD cable. Designed with flexibility and the unique needs of variable frequency drives (VFD) in mind, this may be the comprehensive solution you’ve been seeking for your VFD application.

This cable features great low temperature properties, with a temperature range of -40°C to +90°C. It is also built for easy installation and routing with a bend radius that is 5 times that of standard VFD cabling.

Cross-linked polyethylene insulation and a premium TPE jacket protect the cable against sunlight, solvents, and corona discharge. Combination shielding with 85% coverage defends against electromagnetic interference; an especially important consideration for VFD cable applications. Low capacitance also makes V-Flex suitable for longer runs. It is available in sizes from 16 AWG to 4 AWG.

V-Flex cable is UL and CSA tray cable rated. It also meets CSA CIC control cable and UL TC-ER cable ratings, and is approved for use in NFPA 79 applications.
