Local Students Build Electric Vehicle Using Allied Wire

Students from Dallastown High School’s Metal Technology class have completed some very impressive projects over the past few years, including a boat and trailer, and a classic hot rod. Allied has been more than happy to donate the scrap wire used in these projects, and was thrilled to help with this year’s build: an electric vehicle.

We first introduced this project back in October, and now the final results are in. Below is a photo of teacher, Matt Chilcoat with his Metal Technology students, and their completed electric buggy. Amazing job, guys!
